entertaining at home :: cozy fall tabletop

2020 is the year of home and stay at home, and there is still so much to celebrate and so many ways in which to do so in the comfort of your home. We created this cozy fall inspiration to be applied to the holidays of 2020, but to also translate to 2021 when we hope to all be together for the holidays! Here are a few of our pro entertaining tips that can effortlessly be applied to your 2020 holidays!

Find a corner of your home or yard that isn’t often used, and create a warm and inviting space with a coffee table or small dinner table and chairs. Plan to cozy into the space and be prepared with blankets or a small firepit. If you’re indoors, get festive by setting the table in front of your fireplace, or put a fireplace scene on your tv.

Go detail heavy! Really take this time to personalize hand-written notes on each place setting, and letter names on handmade napkin bands with strips of fabric or velvet ribbon. Menus are also a nice touch, even if it’s just for two of you. Finish each piece off with a wax seal!

Tap into what you have at home to enhance your decor! Baskets make for great vessels for ferns or flowers down your table, and cake stands can enhance a centerpiece in a snap!

Stage a cocktail or mocktail station that can serve you all day. There’s something so festive and warm about a cocoa bar with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, and big square marshmallows, or a cider station with ways to spike (hello, whiskey!), or warm mulled cider.
