valley & co. tips :: 6 fun ways to incorporate fall into your event

Fall is officially in full swing and we’re loving applying warm and cozy details to our autumn events. Incorporating seasonal components into your wedding or party can bring home your vision and really punch up the personalized feeling and can be done in effortless ways that have great impact. The bar area is likely one of the first action stations your guests will see, so ensuring it’s full and well thought out with a handful of details will create cohesion and a sense of warmth. An empty bar becomes a warm and festive hangout area with simple design elements tucked to the side.

Here are a few of our go-to tricks for peppering the fall season into our events:

Stage your bar to include a detailed menu and tons of candlelight, flowers or potted herbs, and linen cocktail napkins (see our full list of fall happy hour picks Amazon #sp)

Provide warmth even when outdoors and toss out a handful of cozy plaid blankets your guests will be happy to use

Go warm with your cocktails or mocktails and serve up spiced ciders, mulled wine, or cranberry spritzers before a wedding ceremony or upon guest arrival

Make your own cozy den with bookshelves surrounding a bar or fireplace and add beautifully bound books, candlelight, and potted topiaries

Use lanterns aglow and fairy lights woven through foliage and trees to cast a touch of magic at every turn
