Kavita and Andy are truly two of the kindest and most thoughtful couples we’ve had the pleasure of working with. They had big plans for their Indian-American wedding (most all 250 guests came from across the country) and entrusted us to create a meaningful and beautiful celebration that represented their love story and the care they really wanted their guests to experience.
We found Dairyland, a beautiful white barn north of Seattle in Snohomish, as the perfect fall venue. The property feels warm and earthy, but not overly rustic, which helped us to modernize the ambiance. Thanks to C2 Photography for capturing the details!
Guests were welcomed into the barn before the ceremony with Fran’s Chocolates (the sea salted caramel trio is a Seattle must-have treat for guests!), and a warm cocktail. We created several vignettes for visiting and relaxation, as the weather in October in Seattle can be unpredictable – our indoor plan upped the cozy factor!
The ceremony was a gorgeous mix of Indian traditions and a bit of American influence – perfectly balanced for our bride and groom. Our jazzy trio of string musicians helped to add that romantic feeling.
As guests awaiting the shuttles at night’s end, Dante’s Inferno dogs (another Seattle staple!) kept them warm.
