We had the distinct honor of speaking at Fleurology Luxury Design Symposium in LA, sharing the inter-working of how we plan, design, and floralize our events and take good care of our clients. Adelena Whitaker Rooney is the brilliant mastermind behind this intimate, hands-on experience, and also the talent behind Studio Fiore in Southern California. She invited a number of talented wedding pros to speak and get to know attendees, including David Tutera, Amber and Emily of Karson Butler, Lindsay Crab of EUCCA, Michelle Loretta of Sage Wedding Pros, Corinne Heck of Details Flowers, Lisa Lippe of Details Defined, and talented photographer Brian Tropiano (who captured all of these beautiful images).
It was four days of learning, sharing, laughter, new connections, and hands-on floral design for those new to floral creation as well as seasoned veterans, all coming together to have fun and expand their horizons and creativity. We always say that we read like an open book, and we really enjoyed sharing about how we do what we do and for so long; planning, designing, and creating for our events. We shared how we started our business together in 2003, why we do what we do, and how we juggle details and plans from A-Z.
We encouraged attendees to maximize what they can offer their clients and to not set limitations that can cramp up their businesses and prohibit creativity. It’s vastly important to our business and the core of what we do to offer our clients our expertise and unlimited creativity so they truly are getting the very best of what we can do.
After our speaking session, Aleah led the group on creating compote-style arrangements and sharing her favorite techniques to bring a garden-style look to life.
It was a wonderful several days to be part of, sharing, learning, and connecting. Thank you for having us, Adelena!
